David Pastrnak joined elite company during the Bruins’ Columbus Day tilt with the Anaheim Ducks.
The talented Czech winger became the 18th different forward in franchise history to score four goals in a single game during Boston’s 4-2 victory. Pastrnak — the first Bruin to light the lamp four times since Patrice Bergeron’s career night against Carolina in Jan. 2018 — achieved the feat on five shots on goal.
“It’s always nice,” Pastrnak said. “That’s what I’m getting paid for.”
Pastrnak makes $6.6 million annually after he signed a six-year deal before the 2017-18 season, yet he’s worth more.
