BOSTON — If there’s one thing we were reminded of again in the Bruins 6-2 loss to the Ducks at TD Garden Tuesday, it’s that the Bruins are consistently inconsistent but always resilient. After a gritty 3-2 win at Philadelphia on Monday, the Bruins didn’t exactly come out flat against the Ducks Tuesday but they couldn’t match the energy and intensity the well-rested Ducks had for 60 minutes and headed into the all star break with a loss.
Zach Trotman scored his first goal of the season to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead 45 seconds into the game but the Ducks then answered with the next four goals and the Bruins never quite recovered.
