Regardless whether he is on the scoresheet or not, Eriksson is providing some sort of impact on a nightly basis. Whether he’s establishing a tempo offensively or helping the transition from defense to offense, the former Dallas Star is contributing in more ways than one.
On Wednesday, Eriksson scored the tying goal in Montreal on a shorthanded breakaway after Zdeno Chara sent him to the races after batting the puck in mid-air.
