The Providence Bruins had one of those “very AHL” weekends this weekend, in that they played two games against the same team in different cities. Granted, Providence and Hartford aren’t exactly thousands of miles apart. But still...why not just do both in one city?
Anyways, I digress. The Bruins played the Hartford Wolf Pack at home on Friday night and in Hartford on Saturday night; they won the first one in a shootout, then dropped the second.
Friday: 4-3 shootout win over Hartford
The Bruins started the weekend on a positive note with the shootout win.
