The Providence Bruins were in action three consecutive days this weekend, and they had themselves a good one: the Bruins won 2 games out of 3, scoring a whopping 15 goals in the process.
NOT BAD.
Friday: 5-0 win over Bridgeport
The Bruins kicked things off in style on Friday, shutting out the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 5-0. Maxime Lagace was between the pipes and recorded his 4th shutout of the AHL season.
Recently demoted Brendan Gaunce led the way for Providence on offense, scoring twice and adding an assist.
