Weekend Preview: Boston Pride Travel to Minnesota

Tune in on NESN at 7:00 p.m. for the first game!

The Pride will have their second straight weekend of back-to-back games, facing the Minnesota Whitecaps at the University of Minnesota’s Ridder Arena both tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

The Whitecaps are an unaffiliated team whose roster includes Team USA players Monique Lamoureux, Jocelyn Lamoureux-Davidson, Jessie Vetter, and Alex Rigsby. These games will be the first ever women’s professional hockey games played in Minnesota, a state which is home to 19% of all registered female hockey players in the country. NWHL commissioner Dani Rylan has spoken very highly of the Whitecaps, noting the state as a possible area of expansion in the future.
