The Bruins announced this morning that Urho Vaakanainen and Brendan Gaunce have been recalled from Providence as the 95 Shuttle keeps on rolling.
The Vaakanainen move isn't that surprising, as it was speculated that his demotion yesterday was for salary cap purposes.
This will be the first Bruins recall for Gaunce, who has 4 goals and 3 assists in 11 AHL games.
Gaunce, you'll remember, was the victim of a brutal collision against Montreal's AHL side a few weeks back, suffering a concussion that caused him to miss several games.
The recall may be a reward for Gaunce, who has been good for Providence, or it could just be the Bruins cycling through their prospects to see who can do what.
