NASHVILLE — It’s been nearly three years since Tyler Seguin and the Bruins have parted ways. Since the trade that also sent Rich Peverley to the Stars for Loui Eriksson, Reilly Smith and Joe Morrow, Seguin’s star is shining brightly in Dallas. The Black and Gold, who won the President’s Trophy in the first year of the Seguin deal, haven’t really had the same success as their second overall pick in 2010.
Seguin’s accolades continue to pick up as he takes part in his third All-Star game appearance — his second since arriving in Dallas. As Boston continues to watch Seguin become one of the game’s best players — and think what could have been had former Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli not pulled the trigger — the sixth-year forward is still appreciative of the support from The Hub.
