Tommy Cross has been recalled from Providence

The Bruins announced this morning that Tommy Cross has been recalled from Providence on an emergency basis.

The Boston College Eagle will be available for the Bruins in tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Due to the recall being of the emergency type, Cross can only play in the event of an injury; it's not exactly wild speculation to assume the injury is to Matt Grzelcyk.

They also announced that they "assigned" Paul Postma, which is vague. He may have still technically been with the team on an emergency recall.
