Faceoffs have been a point of contention for fans of pretty much every team this postseason. Linesmen seem intent on making every faceoff a spectacle, tossing guys out with reckless abandon.
The league wanted to crack down on faceoff violations this season, but there's absolutely no way they were as strict in the regular season as they have been in the playoffs.
The most frustrating part is that there's rarely an egregious violation. If a guy chops down early and pushes off, fine. Toss him.
But most of the ejections have been for seemingly minor reasons.
