With the decision to skip out on the Olympics and deprive us all of some great international hockey, the NHL will have its All-Star Game in Tampa a little more than three weeks from now, on January 28th.
The league released the jerseys for the game today and boy, they’re...they’re something.
Huh. So yeah, these are interesting.
Some thoughts:
- Adidas took a bit of a weird track here. The Pacific and Central Division uniforms have similar color schemes, and both invoke the old Conference of Wales and Campbell Conference color schemes, while the Atlantic and Metropolitan color schemes seem to be completely unrelated to one another.
