With a day off, the Bruins took care of some housekeeping things today: the team announced that they've signed the young forward to an entry-level contract.
The deal is for 3 years, with an NHL cap hit of around $800k.
The 21-year-old forward was drafted by the Bruins in the 6th round back in 2015.
He's been in Sweden ever since, bouncing around the top few tiers of Swedish hockey.
This year was a bit of a breakout season for Steen, as he played in 60 SHL (top tier) games and recorded 44 points (including the playoffs).
