Sunday’s Bruins-Senators game reportedly postponed as Boston deals with COVID outbreak

Another game for the Bruins has been pushed back as the team continues to deal with a COVID-19 outbreak.

Sunday’s game against the Senators in Ottawa will get postponed, The Boston Globe’s Kevin Paul Dupont reported Saturday afternoon. The Bruins originally had practice scheduled for Saturday morning but that was canceled.

The postponement of Sunday’s game is the third Bruins game that’s been postponed in recent days. Their game against the Canadiens in Montreal, which was scheduled for Saturday, was postponed by the NHL on Friday. A few hours later, the league announced that the Avalanche – who are also dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak – would have all their games through the holiday break postponed, meaning Thursday’s Bruins-Avalanche game will get pushed back.
