The Bruins first game of November didn't get off to the best start. After learning that David Pastrnak will miss some time due to a foot injury earlier today, Chris Kelly fell awkwardly just 1:40 into the game. The incident was low-contact, but he needed to be helped off the ice, and did not return to the game. History says that little-to-no-contact lower-body injuries keep guys out for long stretches. Get well Chris!
Update: Don Sweeney and the Bruins released a statement during the 3rd Period of tonight's game confirming that Chris Kelly fractured his femur and will undergo surgery tomorrow.
