Report: Niklas Svedberg signs one year deal with KHL's Salavat Yulaev

According to this article and the following tweet, you can wave goodbye to Niklas Svedberg in Boston this year.

Svedberg played in 18 games last season and finished the year 7-5-3, with a .918 sv% and a 2.13 GAA.

Salavat plans to use him as their #1 goaltender, which is not a chance he would have had in Boston anytime soon, so good for him.

This does, of course, throw a small wrench into Boston's goaltending future. Luckily they have two big potentials in Malcolm Subban and Zane McIntyre; the loss of Svedberg may motivate McIntyre to go pro and forgo his final season at University of North Dakota.
