Report: Harry Sinden’s role with Bruins set to expand

According to a report from the Boston Herald’s Steve Harris Bruins’ team owner Jeremy Jacobs has asked Harry Sinden, a long-time Bruins employee, to expand his role as the team’s Senior Advisor. Harris states that Jacobs may ask with Sinden’s experience, that he help President Cam Neely and CEO Charlie Jacobs in their search for a new General Manager.

Sinden coached the Bruins from the 1966-’67 season through the 1969-’70 season and then once again in 1979-’80 and 1984-’85. He would later return to the Bruins where he spent 28 years as General Manager and 17 as President.
