Considering his age and relative inexperience, he had a pretty impressive preseason.
However, it appears that the preseason has come to an end for Fabian Lysell, with a report indicating last night that the Bruins have assigned the young Swedish winger to the Canadian junior ranks.
Though it hasn't been confirmed by the team yet, Lysell will reportedly be heading to the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League.
The Giants Lysell's North American junior rights due to drafting him 30th overall in the 2020 CHL Import Draft.
The Bruins alluded earlier in training camp that the WHL was always the likely landing spot for Lysell, preferring that for the kid over a stint in Providence.
