It wasn’t the strongest week for the P-Bruins, as the team earned just two of six possible points. They were shutout 2-0 by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday before traveling to Syracuse for Friday’s game. Here is a recap of the weekend’s games.
Friday, March 29 vs. Syracuse, 3-2 Win:
Led by Lee Stempniak’s three points, the P-Bruins took down the North Division-leading Syracuse Crunch on Friday. Stempniak scored his fifth goal of the season in the second to give Providence a 1-0 lead into the third, where Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson and Gemel Smith both found the back of the net.
