Friday, January 4 vs. Lehigh Valley, 4-2 Win:
The P-Bruins jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first, with all three goals coming with under three minutes to go in the period. Trent Frederic scored his seventh of the year to make it 1-0 before Gemel Smith scored two goals in 21 seconds to expand Providence’s lead heading into the second.
The Phantoms scored twice in the middle frame to pull within one, but a goal from Joona Koppanen early in the third put a seal on the victory.
