Providence Bruins sign Chris Breen to AHL deal

The Providence Bruins are keeping their big man around for another season. According to Mark Divver of the Providence Journal, the P-Bruins and Chris Breen have agreed to terms on a standard AHL contract.

Breen, 6-foot-7 and 226 pounds, has been with Providence since the 2014-2015 season. The rugged defenseman has amassed five goals and 33 assists in 217 games, and has been an alternate captain in each of the past three seasons.
