The Providence Bruins had a bit of a different week this past week, playing on Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, eschewing their usual Friday night games.
On the week, the Bruins went 1-1-1: a win over Bridgeport on Tuesday night, a shootout loss to Laval Saturday night, and a regulation loss to Belleville on Sunday.
In the win, Maxime Lagace recorded his second shutout of the season, making 30 saves. Peter Cehlarik netted a goal and an assist as well.
Unfortunately, it was downhill from there for the Bruins. On Saturday, Cehlarik scored again, but the Laval Rocket beat the Bruins in a shootout.
