The Providence Bruins went 1-1-1 in their three-game swing this past weekend, collecting three out of a possible six points. While some would look at it as an average, if not, solid stretch, the Baby B’s will certainly come out of the long weekend kicking themselves over leaving a few points on the board.
No matter how you slice and dice it, Providence could have — and very well should have — gone 3-0. But a late blown lead cost them an extra point or three. Now, after spending most of the season near the top of the Atlantic Division, the P-Bruins have slipped three spots down to the fourth and final playoff spot.
