The Providence Bruins have the opportunity to clinch a playoff spot on Friday when they take on the Hartford Wolfpack on home ice. If the Baby B’s win in regulation AND the Bridgeport Sound Tigers lose in regulation, then they will punch their ticket to the 2018 Calder Cup Playoffs...yes, the AHL competes for the Calder Cup, not some similar version of the Stanley Cup.
The P-Bruins hold a record of 5-4-0-0 against the Wolfpack this season and look to get another win over a team who will not make the playoffs.
