Preseason Recap: Bruins double up on Capitals, 4-2, in win

The Boston Bruins topped the Washington Capitals, 4-2, at the TD Garden on Tuesday with 10 different players registering a point in the win.

The Bruins opened the scoring at 11:51 of the first period.

Riley Tufte picked up a pass from Jordan Oesterle and skated to the slot where he let a wrist shot off that trickled through Hunter Shepard’s five-hole. 1-0 Bruins.

Second period:

The Bruins extended their lead at 2:59 of the second period on the power play.
