Patrice Bergeron has won the Frank J. Selke Trophy for defensive forwards again. He just barely squeezed out that jerk Toews, but he won all the same. Here's the vote breakdown:
- 1. Patrice Bergeron, BOS 1083 (75-29-19-8-11)
- 12. Ryan O’Reilly, COL 45 (1-2-3-1-3)
This is his fourth third Selke Trophy. The only person with that many more is Bob Gainey, who won it the first 4 times it was awarded. This should help cement Bergeron's legacy as truly one of the greatest players in NHL history.
