The Bruins host the Islanders at TD Garden on Thursday at 7 p.m., while the Celtics will welcome the Cavaliers on Friday.
The Bruins are “looking for help” already: Bruins general manager Don Sweeney was asked by Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman recently if Boston is trying to make an upgrade to their roster.
“Up front, certainly,” Sweeney responded.
Through 24 games, the Bruins are fourth in the Atlantic Division. Injuries to key players like Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron have hampered the early season.
