2020 has been a pretty bad year across the board, and over the past couple of days, it’s gotten even worse.
First, legendary Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek passed away. Then yesterday, it was announced that Celtics (and really, NBA) legend Tommy Heinsohn had passed away at the age of 86.
Some of you are Bruins fans from elsewhere (hello Canadians!), but for those of you who are local and are general Boston sports fans, Heinsohn’s death is a tough blow.
Remarkably, Heinsohn was involved in some capacity in every single NBA Championship the Celtics have ever won: 8 as a player, 2 as a coach, and 7 working in some kind of official role with the team.
