The Bruins are off again today, currently soaking up the sun in Las Vegas while the rest of us deal with the fickle “not quite spring yet” weather here in New England.
After a spirited post-trade deadline burst, things have fizzled out a bit for the Bruins, who head into a season-defining “West plus Detroit” road trip riding a streak of three straight losses.
The most recent of those losses came on Monday night against Buffalo, a 3-2 OT loss where you certainly didn’t watch that game and come away thinking “yeah, this looks like a playoff team.
