Folks, it is Friday morning, and Charlie Coyle’s drought has ended.
After wandering goalless in the desert for 28 games, Coyle scored the Bruins’ third goal of the night (the eventual game winner) to end the longest goalless streak of his NHL career.
Of course, one goal in 29 games isn’t exactly cause for celebration, but hey...he also has one goal in one game. PERSPECTIVE.
You have to think the goal (which was a great finish) will do wonders for Coyle’s confidence, which should, in turn, do wonders for the Bruins’ bottom six.
Other good signs last night: David Krejci and Taylor Hall combining for another highlight-reel goal.
