Monday! A new week is upon us.
Yesterday, the Bruins beat the East-leading Washington Capitals, 6-3.
It was the fourth win in a row for the Bruins, who are now being closely followed by the New York Rangers (also winners of four in a row).
As yesterday’s game started, NBC’s Eddie Olczyk noted that this was “dire straits” for the Bruins, who desperately needed points to keep pace in the East.
Interestingly, the Bruins are now six points out of first in the East, with three games in hand on those same Capitals.
