Leave it to Jillian Dempsey to ignore the controversy surrounding the NWHL and re-sign with the Pride this week.
Pride General Manager Hayley Moore announced the signing on Tuesday, Dempsey agreeing to a $13,000 contract, which is a nice raise from the $10,500 she made last season.
“Jill is the epitome of hard work and passion,” Moore said in a press release. “Her relentless and consistent play will make her a great contributor again next season.”
Dempsey played in all 18 regular season games, notching seven goals and seven assists, including three in goals during the Pride's back-to-back weekend in early December.
