Bruins prospect Jeremy Swayman has been having a busy couple of weeks.
After being on Team USA for the World Juniors and receiving...negligible playing time and returning with a Bronze Medal, Swayman pitched a 31 save shutout of BU last of Saturday, the first time they’ve done so since 1997 and received the Hockey East’s rookie of the week award.
This is the third time this year he’s been honored in such a way, his first coming from a 40 save win against BU in November, and receiving yet another honor for a sweep of Quinnipiac, where he combined for a mind-boggling 95 saves over the december 11th weekend.
