Now in its ninth year, Sweeney, a couple of months removed from being named the new GM of the Black and Gold, has given the Development Camp duties over to another former Bruin, Jay Pandolfo.
Just a couple years removed from hanging up his skates, Pandolfo gets his first chance of running the four-day program for the recent crop of Bruins prospects, including 2015 first round picks Jakub Zboril, Jake DeBrusk and Zachary Senyshyn.
“It’s really exciting. We drafted 10 players this year, so it’s really going to be exciting to see these guys and to kind of get to know them better on a personal basis,” Pandolfo said about this year’s Development Camp that begins on Tuesday at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington.
