FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The next two weeks will probably determine what kind of season the Bruins have in 2015-16.
With Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel set to be officially anointed as the new, young faces of the league in Round 1 of the entry draft tonight, the Bruins find themselves in quite a precarious position.
New general manager Don Sweeney faces the daunting task of assembling a roster that will give his team a chance to, at the least, make the playoffs.
That will not be easy in a much-improved Eastern Conference, for a Bruins team both old in some key areas and inexperienced or thin in others.
