Injury Update: David Backes is doubtful for the next two games

The Bruins announced today that David Backes would be doubtful for tomorrow’s game against Pittsburgh and the next night’s game against Montreal:

"Doing a little better than last night...but I think tomorrow we'll have a better determination."

Backes left Saturday's game in visible distress shortly after the terrifying scene where Scott Sabourin collided head-to-head with him, was knocked unconscious, and was stretchered off. It’s very likely the B’s call up a player from Providence by lunch time tomorrow.
