1st Period:
Bruce started the game with some interesting lineup choices, taking Tommy Wingels, Danton Heinen and Riley Nash out in favor of Tim Schaller, Ryan Donato and Brian Gionta. Most agree that changes needed to be made, but I doubt many could’ve guessed this was the way Cassidy would go. The Bruins started the game stronger than Game 3, landing 2 credited SOG in the opening minutes, but every attempt was from above the dots, a theme in this series. Unfortunately, a turnover from a top six forward resulted in a goal, this time off of Rick Nash’s stick.
