Another day that involves an injury – this time to Brad Marchand, who will miss tonight’s game against the Wild with an upper-body injury that he suffered against the Capitals after a hit from John Carlson late in the first period. Visibly upset by smashing his stick in disgust, Marchand finished the game but was not on the ice for Monday’s morning skate.

Another day that involved a call-up from Providence – this time defenseman Rob O’Gara. The former Yale standout will make his second appearance of the season tonight as he pairs with Kevan Miller. Paul Postma will be the healthy scratch.
