The Providence Bruins ended last month with a three-game win streak. This streak carried over to the next month, as Providence continued its strong play after the calendar turned to December.
Fresh off a December 1st win, Providence won against on Friday the 6th. Paul Carey scored goals 10 and 11 of his season to lead his team to a 6-2 victory over Binghamton.
Providence then defeated Utica the next night 3-2 in a shootout. Carey scored once again, and Brendan Gaunce had the other.
Unfortunately, the win streak ended at six, as Providence suffered a pair of 4-1 losses to Hartford and Syracuse.
