Marco Sturm, he of the Joe Thornton to San Jose trade, retired from pro hockey fairly recently. It didn't take him too long to find a new gig.
ProHockeyTalk.com reports that Sturm has been named both head coach and general manager of the German national hockey team.
Sturm scored 106 of his 242 career goals as a member of the Bruins. According to PHT, he's the highest-scoring German-born player in league history.
Congrats, Sturm-Face! Let's look at some Sturmoments. (Sorry, some came before HD.)
