Experts’ grades for Bruins trade: The Bruins got a head start on the NHL trade deadline (set for 3 p.m. on Friday, March 7) with a Tuesday deal in which Boston sent forward Trent Frederic to Edmonton.
In full terms, the Bruins sent Frederic to the Oilers along with Max Jones in a three-way deal that also involved the Devils. Boston received a 2025 second-round pick, a 2026 fourth-round pick, and defenseman Max Wanner.
