Danton Heinen is light for a professional hockey player. This has left him with fewer opportunities than your average Hal-Gill-Sized player, but he's certainly made the most of it. Through the last few years of various junior leagues and through last year in the NCAA, he's been top-25 in scoring rate, and never dipped under a point per game. He won a championship in the PIJHL (I hadn't heard of it either).
Last year, the Denver Pioneers made the Frozen Four regionals. They blew BC out of the water, 5-2, but lost to eventual National Champions Providence 4-1 in their regional finals.
