The Bruins announced this morning that 23 year old center Colby Cave has accepted his qualifying offer and will remain with the organization for at least two more years. The deal is a two-way, 2 year offer worth the league minimum at the NHL level ($675k), while his AHL salary will be $70k. He will be a RFA at the conclusion of the contract.
Cave was the final Restricted Free Agent for the Bruins after re-signing Matt Grzelcyk (2 years), Sean Kuraly (3 years) and Anton Blidh (1 year) earlier in the off season.
