Unrestricted free-agent defenseman Cody Franson said Tuesday that he's in discussions with the Boston Bruins -- along with five or six other teams -- on a possible contract.
During a radio interview with Team 1040 in Vancouver, Franson said he's gaining some interest but the process is moving slowly due to cap situations from some of the teams.
