Charlie McAvoy has won the NESN Seventh Player award, voted on by fans as the unsung player of the 2017-2018 season.
While there was always the chance for Charlie to regress a bit from his playoff NHL debut in the first round of the playoffs last season, he fought off much of that after a bit of a rough start that saw him take several late-in-game penalties.
