The Bruins announced this morning that coach Bruce Cassidy will be an assistant coach for Team Canada at the upcoming 2022 Winter Olympics.
(Side note: it's wild that the Summer Olympics just ended yesterday and now the winter ones are just a couple months away.)
Cassidy will join head coach Jon Cooper (Tampa Bay) and fellow assistants Peter DeBoer (Vegas) and Barry Trotz (New York) behind the Canadian bench.
Maybe Cassidy and Trotz can have a rumble prior to the Olympics to settle their second-round back-and-forth.
As far as I know, it hasn't been officially confirmed that NHL players will be going to the Olympics, but I'd say this is about as "confirmed" as confirmed gets.
