The Bruins got off to a great start. Hammering Bobrovsky with shots and controlling play throughout the first 20 minutes, getting good opportunity after fantastic opportunity, before finally cashing in as Jake DeBrusk finally got on the scoreboard after a multi-game absence, putting the B’s up 1-0!
If ever there was a time and place to hit the career triple digits, that was it.
More importantly, Boston ended up holding this lead! They even got a power play to end it!
Second Period:
The power play ended up not helping, but Boston did get another goal from David Krejci who’s chronomancy somehow willed a puck past Bobrovsky.
