BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins will show their appreciation for the men and women who serve as First Responders and their families during their inaugural First Responder Night on Monday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. during the Bruins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game at TD Garden.
The First Responders and families in attendance will be honored throughout the game with a photo montage on the Garden HDX, Zamboni rides, high-fiving Bruins players before they take the ice and more. The National Anthem will be performed by the Boston Fire Department Acappella Quartet. Sergeant Richard “Dic” Donohue, who was wounded on-duty in April 2013 while pursuing the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, will perform the dropping of the ceremonial first puck.
