BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, June 27, that the team has tendered qualifying offers to the following players: Chris Casto, Brian Ferlin, Alexander Khokhlachev, Torey Krug, Colin Miller and Joe Morrow.
Casto, 24, completed his fourth season with the Providence Bruins in 2015-16, establishing career highs with seven goals, 16 assists, 23 points and 47 penalty minutes in 68 games. In 2014-15, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound defenseman skated in 62 games with Providence, tallying one goal and 11 assists for 12 points with 35 penalty minutes and a career-high plus-17 rating. In his career, Casto has appeared in 186 games with Providence, amassing 11 goals and 35 assists for 46 points with 105 penalty minutes.
