Bruins sign Zach Senyshyn to a one-year, two-way contract

This is going to be like Christmas for the “everything sucks” crowd!

The Bruins announced this afternoon that forward Zach Senyshyn has agreed to a new contract with the team. It’s a one-year, two-way deal that carries a cap hit of $700,000 at the NHL level.

I can’t wait to post this on our Facebook page for people to go wild.

You all know the drill by now: Senyshyn was picked ahead of Mat Barzal, Kyle Connor, etc. To this point, he hasn’t quite panned out.

However, he’s shown steady progress in Providence in recent years, and is probably as close to NHL ready as he’s been since he was drafted.
