The Bruins are adding some more heft to their prospect pipeline in Cornell forward Dalton Bancroft.
Boston announced on Thursday that they have signed the 6-foot-3, 210-pound forward to one-year, entry-level contract for the 2025-26 season with an NHL salary cap hit of $950,000. The 24-year-old Bancroft will report to Providence and play out the remainder of this season on an amateur tryout (ATO) contract.
Bancroft is coming off a junior season at Cornell where he scored 15 goals and 27 points across 36 games with the Big Red — ranking second on the team behind fellow Bruins prospect Ryan Walsh in scoring.
